League of legends are now transitioning in to riot

Once Garena's servers stop operating in January 2023, League of Legends will build new Riot League and TFT servers for all of the players to join as part of the transition. In addition to allowing you to receive direct League of Legends support in your local tongue, these new Riot-hosted servers will give you access to the same in-game events and cross-franchise promotions that are now available in the rest of the world. Players reaction

Many players are not prepared for this NEWS as League of Legends is partnered with Garena since it was release last October 27, 2009. Many Players are scared because they might lose their account in League if they didn't transfer their account on time, however, all of this was answered by League which said that "Garena's League servers will shut down for good—but don't worry if you're late to the party! You'll still be able to link and migrate your Garena League data even after the Garena League servers are no longer active, setting the stage for you to continue your League journey with us at Riot" Starting this November 18th, 2022, you'll be able to start linking your Garena League Account(s) to your Riot Account(s). Once you link your account you cannot undone it.

New season

Your account migration will become official in early January when you sign into League for the first time using the Riot Client. The next season will start on MID JANUARY 2023, along with rank resets and re-calibration. In fact, Riot Client will now be your one-stop shop for League, TFT, VALORANT, and LoR. Your new League Ranked season will begin at this time, and the Riot will begin running League of Legends. Additionally, as a thank-you and as a new beginning, League will begin awarding free skins, bundles, and RP to participants on this date.
